Well what a difficult year it has been in 2020. With all but one of my weddings postponed until next year it has certainly been a testing time. This year promised so much for so many but unfortunately the pandemic has pretty much changed everyones plans. 2021 is going to be busy thats for sure, Im just hoping that all the current restrictions are gone and we can all enjoy some normality and not live in fear of last minute disruption again.
However if was great to see some smiling faces once more back in September at the lovely socially distanced wedding of Georgina and Paul. That was when people weren't wearing masks of course !
I wasn't really sure what to expect but the good people at Bickley had everything super sorted. It was strange seeing the Miller room set out in a way Ive not seen before, small groups of chairs filled with guests from the same social bubble. Even stranger seeing people sat in masks for the ceremony. It wasn't a full days photography for me but a tailored package but I think the story of the day is there to see in Georgina's and Paul's smiling faces.

The girls got ready in the bridal suite as usual and the mood was fun and relaxed and with a glass or two of bubbles along the way it stayed that way and gave the opportunity for some lovely moments for me to capture.
Paul welcomed the guests and it wasn't long before we were ready for the ceremony. The Miller room has always provided a lovely intimate feel for a wedding ceremony and it was no different this time as an emotional groom welcomed his beautiful bride into the room.
Lots of smiles and laughter was the order of the day and after the ceremony it was on to the decking in beautiful sunshine to have a drink and a catch up whilst being serenaded by the voice of Matt Hudson.
