I recently had the privilege and pleasure to photograph the wedding of Daniella and Chris in the wonderful surroundings of the Mercure, Walton Hall Hotel and Spa.
My first time at this lovely venue, a sixteenth century grade II listed building.
As the guys were getting ready at the venue as well I had a great oppurtunity to catch up with the groom and his crew as well as the bride.
The venue offered some great natural light for me to work with in the huge rooms where everyone was getting prepped.
There is a chapel adjacent to the main house and this is where the ceremony took place, it was a ceremony full of emotion and a few laughs along the way as well. Chris the groom seemed quite overwhelmed to begin with but soon settled once he'd seen his lovely bride for the first time.
After the ceremony it was time to explore the grounds and capture some lovely shots with the happy couple before heading in for wedding breakfast.
The guests were entertained by the wonderfully talented table magician, Max Butler.
Speeches were lively and suitably embarrassing for those who got a mention in stories of old.
After the couple received a sparkler tunnel back into the venue it was time to kick the evening off with cake cutting and first dance before the guests partied the night away with the resident DJ.
I had an absolute blast capturing this wedding and Id like to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome.
See you again soon.
