Last week I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Matt and Sarah in one of my favourite places in the UK, St Ives in Cornwall. I was looking forward to this one as it was the first wedding I had shot in the beautiful jewell of Cornwall. It was a different approach from the happy couple as I was asked to shoot the blessing in the chapel atop what is known as the island. After meeting at the harbour it was then a procession up to the chapel where we were met by incredibly strong winds but thankfully no rain ! The sun shone and remained for the rest of the day on the more sheltered Porthgwidden beach where the families relaxed and made the most of the wonderful weather before going to the Beach Cafe for the wedding breakfast. It was then a case of dance the night away to the sounds of the excellent Thrift Club who had travelled down from London to entertain. A great day for all including myself. You'll get an idea of the story of the day by taking a look at the pics below. Enjoy !!
