Charlotte and Paul. Paignton, Devon.
Recently I was thrilled to shoot the wedding of Paul and Charlotte in Devon.
Ive known Paul for a while and was made up when he and Charlotte asked me to cover their big day.
So on a rainy April morning I headed down to Charlottes childhood home where her and her lovely bridesmaids were getting ready.
They were a super fun bunch and I was made to feel so welcome. After prep we headed off to Paignton Parish church for the main event. However due to the local rules I was not allowed to take any photos during the service, which was disappointing and somewhat baffling for me.
During the service the clouds cleared outside and the newly married couple were greeted with some beautiful Spring sunshine.
Everyone then headed down to Torquay and the Headland Hotel for wedding breakfast and the evening party.
Speeches were hilarious from the three best men which included an accompanying slideshow from the stag party and more and some very dodgy photos of the groom !!
After the formalities there was nothing left to do but party the night away.
I had such a lot of fun shooting this day, and Id like to thank everyone who made me feel so welcome and for not running away when I pointed a camera at them.

Spring stunner. Stewart and Lauren. Devon
Back in April I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Stewart and Lauren in Devon.
After meeting up with the bride and her wonderful bridesmaids it was off to the village of Kingskerswell and a lovely ceremony in the village church.
The service was an emotional affair with plenty of laughs as well to lighten the mood.
We then made the trip down to Buckland Tous Saints near Kingsbridge for the reception and an evening of music, dancing, sparklers and fireworks.
There was an amazing amount packed in to the day and I was kept on my toes not wanting to miss any of the moments along the way.
Ive tried to capture the atmosphere of the day in the pics below.

So my last wedding of 2016 was at the lovely Homewood Park near Bath.
Being greeted with wonderful winter sunshine led me to think this was going to be a lovely wedding to shoot. And I wasn't disappointed.
Lisa and Carl are a lovely couple and it was plain to see on their faces how much they were looking forward to their big day. Carl is in the military and has served his country with gusto while Lisa awaited his return so they could finally tie the knot.
Lisa was stunning in her classic style gown flanked by her lovely bridesmaids and Lexi the flower girl.
After prep in the Gainsborough hotel in central Bath it was on to Homewood for an emotional ceremony, then the most confetti Ive seen at a wedding made for some great pictures.
Wedding breakfast was followed by high jinks in the speeches and a lovely evening was then spent dancing the night away.
A big thank you from me to the bride and grooms families for making me so welcome.
Also a big thanks to my brother in law, Alan for getting shots of the lads pre ceremony as we were running a bit late.

Naomi and Matt. Bickleigh Mill. Devon
An intimate venue, glorious Autumn weather, a wonderful couple all added to the ingredients for a great wedding shoot in the glorious Devon countryside.
After spending a lovely fun morning with Naomi and her lovely bridesmaids, Rachel and Chloe I had the privilege of shooting the ceremony of Matt and Naomi.
A highly emotional affair it proved to be, tears of joy with added smiles equalled a great ceremony and was followed by an equally fun wedding breakfast and speeches.
Father of the bride, the best man and the groom himself gave great speeches and had the room in stitches .
I felt privileged to have captured this wonderful day and was made to feel so welcome.
